Frequently asked questions
How are costs calculated?
OpenWatch queries your cloud's CloudKitty Rating API: those are the amounts actually billed. When CloudKitty is unavailable, a pricing-grid estimate (vCPU, RAM, disk, IP) takes over, clearly labelled as such in the interface.
Are my OpenStack credentials safe?
They are encrypted at rest and only used to read your data. You can connect a project read-only: write actions (orphan deletion, resize) are then disabled.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Yes, anytime from the Billing page. Payments are handled by Stripe; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Which clouds are supported?
Infomaniak Public Cloud (OpenStack) today, across all its regions. More sovereign European providers are on the roadmap.
Is there a self-hosted version?
